Swimwear FAQs
Cover-ups are a stylish and easy choice to wear over swimwear, whether you’re heading to the beach or lounging by the pool. Try pairing your swimsuit with a breezy kaftan, a chic sarong, or a lightweight sundress for a relaxed yet fashionable look. For a more casual vibe, denim shorts and a flowy tank top are always solid options. Good Swim Cover-Ups provide the perfect blend of comfort and fashion so you can transition effortlessly from the water to wherever else your day takes you. To measure for women’s swimwear, use a soft measuring tape and take your bust, waist, and hip measurements. For the bust, measure around the fullest part of your chest, ensuring the tape is level. For the waist, measure around the narrowest part of your waist, typically just above your belly button. For the hips, measure around the widest part of your hips.
The short answer? Whatever you feel good wearing. For curvy figures, Full Coverage Swim options like high-waisted bikini bottoms or one-piece swimsuits with ruching can be very flattering. If you want to enhance your curves, Compression Swim styles offer support and shape. Our Always Fits Swim collection adapts to your body for a perfect fit. Remember, the best swimwear is the one that makes you feel confident and comfortable, so explore different styles and find what suits you best.
If your swimwear is too small, you might notice it digging into your skin, causing discomfort or leaving marks. The fabric may feel overly tight and restrict movement, and you might experience spillage or gaps in areas where the swimsuit should provide coverage.
So, how should a well-fitting swimsuit feel? Simple: It should hug your body comfortably without pinching or causing any discomfort, allowing you to move (and swim!) freely and confidently.
While hand washing is always preferred, you can wash swimwear in a washing machine on a delicate cycle with cold water. Use a mild detergent and place your swimwear in a mesh laundry bag to protect it. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the fabric.
It's best to avoid putting swimwear in the dryer—the high heat can damage the elastic fibers and reduce the longevity of your swimsuits. Instead, we recommend gently squeezing out excess water without wringing and laying your swimwear flat on a towel to air dry. This helps maintain the shape and elasticity of your swimsuit pieces, ensuring they look great and fit well for many seasons to come.
