Emma Grede
Emma Grede is the CEO and Co-Founder of Good American, the first fully inclusive fashion brand that celebrates all dimensions of female power.
Female Founder Power
In October 2016, Emma launched Good American with Khloé Kardashian to empower all women to celebrate their bodies with confidence by offering high-quality designs in all sizes. What started as the largest denim launch in history, has evolved into an iconic and inclusive fashion line of denim, ready-to-wear, swim, shoes and activewear.
Emma attended the London School of Fashion and got her start working in fashion show production, before founding ITB, a talent management and entertainment marketing agency, where she was the CEO. ITB was acquired by Rogers & Cowan, with Emma exiting the company. This was Emma's second successful company exit before starting Good American.
In 2021, the serial entrepreneur was featured on WWD’s “Moguls in the Making” issue.
Emma is also a founding partner of SKIMS along side Kim Kardashian West, a solutions-oriented brand creating the next generation of inclusive underwear, loungewear and shapewear, and a co-Founder of Safely, the plant-powered cleaning brand, delivering chemical free cleaning products to the masses.
Emma appears on season 13 of the multi-Emmy Award winning series, “Shark Tank,” becoming the first Black female shark.
Advocating For Change
In addition to founding her own businesses and investing in a number of start ups, Emma is an advocate for driving change and championing diverse and inclusive representation across the industry, which is evident through her work as Chairwoman of Fifteen Percent Pledge.
Emma serves as an advocate for women’s rights and female empowerment serving as an active trustee and board member of Women for Women International and also serves on the board of Baby2Baby.
Born and raised in London, Emma currently lives in Los Angeles and is married to Swedish entrepreneur Jens Grede; together they have four children.
